Position Overview:Our client is seeking a dynamic and client-focused Relationship Manager to join their team, specialising in KiwiSaver and wealth management services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with customers who have a KiwiSaver balance between $50,000 and $100,000, guiding them through their financial journey with the goal of increasing their contributions, helping them set personalised wealth targets, and expanding the customer base within their families and extended networks. You will provide excellent service and proactive support to ensure customers are engaging with their KiwiSaver plan in a way that maximises long-term financial success, without providing direct financial advice.Key Responsibilities:Client Onboarding & Relationship Building:Initiate direct contact with customers once their KiwiSaver balance reaches between $50,000 and $100,000.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, ensuring a personalised and high-touch service experience.Product Education & Contribution Optimization:Walk customers through the features, benefits, and growth potential of their KiwiSaver plan.Work with customers to increase their contributions, identifying opportunities to optimise their savings based on their personal goals.Wealth Target Planning:Collaborate with customers to set clear, achievable wealth target plans, aligned with their financial goals and future needs.Provide ongoing support and check-ins to ensure progress towards those targets, adjusting strategies as needed (without providing direct financial advice).Family & Extended Family Engagement:Proactively engage customers to encourage involvement from their family and extended family members in the KiwiSaver program, helping them understand the benefits of early investment and long-term savings.Financial Service Delivery:Provide exceptional service by addressing customer queries, resolving issues, and offering ongoing guidance throughout their relationship with the company.Continuously monitor customers' accounts to ensure they are maximising available growth opportunities, making suggestions for product enhancements or adjustments when appropriate.Holistic Financial Planning Support:Help clients conceptualise and build a comprehensive financial plan by offering support and educational resources (without providing actual financial advice).Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure all clients receive an integrated approach to their wealth management.Reporting & Follow-Up:Track and report on customer progress towards wealth targets and contribution increases.Maintain accurate records of all interactions, follow-up tasks, and service requests using the company's CRM systems.Key Requirements:Proven experience in customer relationship management, preferably in financial services or wealth management.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.A passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals and an understanding of KiwiSaver products and benefits.Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer service.Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and clear manner.Previous experience in a sales or client-facing role is an added bonus.Financial qualifications or experience are not required, but a general understanding of financial products is advantageous.What They Offer:Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.Opportunities for professional development and training.Opportunity to get your NZCFS Level 5 to be able to become a Financial Adviser.A dynamic and supportive team environment.The chance to make a meaningful impact on clients' financial futures.If you are a motivated and client-oriented professional looking to make a positive difference in people's financial lives, we encourage you to apply!
