We're looking for medical staff at all different levels of their career progression, from registrars to rehabilitation physicians for our Wellington Intensive site in Kenepuru.
Utilise your expertise and support a leading specialist rehabilitation service for adults with traumatic brain injury and polytrauma, and others needing neurorehabilitation. ABI Rehabilitation has a strong interdisciplinary rehabilitation focus on supporting people with traumatic and acquired brain injury, stroke, and other neurologic disorders.
Positions Available
Registrars:
We have a vacancy for a registrar (PGY2 or greater) interested in gaining experience and expertise in neurological rehabilitation, or a registrar intending to train as a specialist in rehabilitation medicine. You will work alongside our rehabilitation medicine physician, providing a high standard of specialist rehabilitation care to our clients.
Rehabilitation Physicians:
ABI Rehabilitation New Zealand Ltd is also seeking a specialist in rehabilitation medicine to join our Wellington services.
You will be fully qualified and registered in New Zealand as a specialist in rehabilitation medicine with a current annual practicing certificate or be in the last year of training and eligible to work as a medical officer of a special scale until full qualification.
About Us
ABI Rehabilitation New Zealand is a specialist rehabilitation service for adults with traumatic brain injury and stroke. This position is situated in our Wellington service (based alongside Kenepuru Hospital in Porirua) where we run a 25-bed inpatient unit and busy outpatient and community rehabilitation services. We manage the physical, psychological, social and cognitive consequences of traumatic and acquired brain injury, polytrauma, stroke, and other neurologic disorders.
