We are looking for an experienced registered Social Worker interested in working in our community-based mental health team. We seek a highly motivated clinician to work with our existing multi-disciplinary team and bring added value to their role. You will be able to demonstrate triage and assessment skills, deliver effective evidence-based treatment strategies for clients, and work collaboratively with other team members and services. This role will also include crisis work and can support the After Hours service. Supervision and support will be available, and positive learning opportunities will be provided. Mental Health Services in Wairarapa have developed a community-based model of service delivery underpinned by a philosophy of recovery and a client-centered approach. This is a permanent, full-time position working 80 hours (1.0 FTE) per fortnight with a requirement to participate on the after-hours on-call roster. This role will be based at the Wairarapa Hospital in Masterton. However, this role is part of the wider Wellington region MHAIDS service, and all MHAIDS employees are under the employment of Capital & Coast Hospital.
