Registered or Enrolled Nurse - VRM Resource Pool, Nelson Nelson Hospital, NZ New Zealand Government Variance Response Management (VRM) Permanent Resource Pool at Nelson Hospital offers permanent part-time positions (0.5FTE to 0.8FTE) working mainly PM and night shifts. Applicants must have NZ Nursing Council Registration and be eligible to work in NZ at the time of applying. Support the best health outcomes for our patients. A minimum of 2 years post-registration general surgical/medical/acute care nursing experience. These roles offer plenty of variety across all wards/units/shifts. Extended training in a variety of specialties to support your professional and personal development across clinical environments. If so, then the Resource Pool role could be the ideal next step for you! Nga mohiohio e pa ana ki tenei mahi (About this position): The VRM permanent resource pool team plays an important role in responding to the acute needs of the wards and departments. You will practice both independently and in collaboration with your nursing colleagues and other health professionals to assess consumers' health needs. You will utilize your advanced knowledge and experience in general surgical/medical/acute care nursing to provide quality care, advice, and support consumers to manage their own health. As we continue to grow our team to meet service needs, we have positions available working between 0.5FTE and 0.8FTE (i.e., 40 to 64 hours a fortnight). These positions will predominantly work afternoon and night shifts across a variety of wards/units at Nelson Hospital. You will be a vibrant and enthusiastic registered nurse or enrolled nurse with at least 2 years post-registration general surgical/medical/acute care nursing experience.
