Registered Nurse - Waihi/Whangamata/Paeroa (4 days a week) There is something special about this stretch of the world.

This is a 4 day a week permanent position.

Working across the area, you will meet with an eclectic range of whanau.
We're looking for a confident clinician, as you will be the only nurse in the area, however you'll have a wider team who are always just a call away.

Our Nurses perform top-to-toe development and growth assessments and provide clinical advice in homes and clinics with the aim of empowering whanau to succeed and prosper in their journey raising tamariki.
When you live in a healthy and safe environment, parenting is much easier; to facilitate this, at times we need to provide social support and work with other agencies, specialists and community groups.

Pay rates for our Registered Nurses are between $64,924 ($32.68/hr) to $92,982 ($47.06/hour) depending on experience. This role is likely to be more suited to an established nurse, however if you have recently graduated and have the life experience and confidence to work on your own, please apply.

You will be confident in your ability to build trusting relationships with people from all walks of life.
Your adaptability and active listening skills will support your ability to ensure you are matching whanau with the right kind of culturally safe support.

To be successful in this role you will:

Be a Registered Nurse Hold or be able to obtain an Annual Practicing Certificate Hold a full or restricted clean NZ Drivers Licence Be committed to completing Post Graduate Certificate in Well Child Tamariki ora (we will pay for this) Work close to home in a community-based role A predominately Monday – Friday role, with some Saturday events 'Well Health Day': the ability to use sick leave for a proactive planned health day We'll pay for your Post-Graduate certificate Career pathways for leaders, educators and head office positions In line with our ongoing goal to support our kaimahi to thrive in culturally safe environments, we have multiple community of interests for kaimahi Maori, Pasifika, Asian and more.
