Hours of work: Full time, approx. 30 hours per week, rotating roster.Pay Rate: $26.94 - $29.10 per hour - subject to completed caregiving qualificationAbout the RoleProvide exceptional care to our residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Work closely with a team to implement our individual care plans. Full training provided.Some Duties include but are not limited to:Undertaking personal cares, while encouraging residents to make decisions that promote independence.Promptly completing delegated tasks in a timely manner.Responding quickly to resident requests, providing them with useful, relevant information.Maintaining and updating resident healthcare records.Assisting with handover of residents at shift changes.Career progression + assistance with Careerforce and NZQA qualifications.EAP (Employee Assistance Programme).Access to discounts and benefits via our Staff App.Opportunities to transfer between 23 Radius Care sites.Supportive team environment.Skills and ExperienceNew Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 3 (or equivalent) and 3 years of relevant experience; OR New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 (or equivalent).People skills with empathy for the elderly and their families.Good written and verbal communication skills.Flexibility to work on a rostered shift basis.Apply now!Exceptional People, Exceptional CareRadius Care is a New Zealand owned and operated company; we specialise in health and aged care for the elderly and disabled.
