Nurses in General Practice enhance community health and equity, providing advanced care within multidisciplinary teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join us at The Doctors Kerikeri to contribute clinical excellence and community health improvement. You will work alongside skilled colleagues, supported by dedicated medical centre leadership.
This is a permanent part-time position working 24 hours across Monday to Friday.

Do you have what we are looking for?
A current New Zealand practicing certificate with prior experience in a medical centre (desirable)
Competent in areas of nursing in either or both primary and secondary care
Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.
Postgraduate nursing qualifications (or if you are working towards one) and/or specialisation is highly desirable; such as, prescribing or long-term conditions
Willing to continually learn and improve
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to build strong rapport with team members.
You will ideally hold a current CPR certificate
Immunisation and smear taker certificates are desirable but not essential
