Here is an exciting opportunity for you to join our Radiology Department at the Whangarei Hospital as a Registered Nurse. The hours of work for this role will be 32 hours per week, Monday to Sunday. Shifts are staggered to cover weekday hours from 8am to 8pm, and 8.30am to 5pm on weekends. The primary function of this role is: To utilise professional knowledge and skill to provide a holistic approach to nursing care that is safe, of the highest quality possible and in accordance with: Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau policies Registered Nurse Scope of Practice Nursing Practice Standards Nursing Council of NZ Registered Nurse competencies Nursing Council code of conduct To provide nursing care in consultation and partnership with the patient/client/family/whanau, where the rights and needs of all people are acknowledged within the context of the Treaty of Waitangi To participate as an effective team member of the Radiology Department and act as a support person to the multidisciplinary team Key Requirements: NZ Registered Nurse with a current Practicing Certificate 3 years post graduate experience Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team Demonstrated ability to practice in a culturally safe manner Benefits No nights!
