As a hospital level-care residential facility for people aged 16 to 65 years of age, St John of God Halswell supports people living with physical and/or neurological disabilities. Working hand in hand with our clinical team, our diversional therapy team are creative and resourceful, resulting in a programme of activities and events that are just as much fun for the caregivers as they are for the residents they support.Set in park-like gardens in a quiet suburb in central Halswell, the 60-bed facility delivers residential and respite care as well as transitional and outpatient rehabilitation services.Our Transitional Rehabilitation service at The Granada Centre works in close partnership with BIRS and Burwood Spinal Unit to support people from around New Zealand.
