Wairau Hospital Theatre Suite consists of 5 Operating Theatres with a Recovery Room, a Sterile Services department, and a Day Stay Unit.Due to the increase in services, we have a number of part-time and full-time positions available. These positions are based in the main theatre department where we provide public acute and elective services, as well as private cases.Shifts: Rostered Monday-Sunday, with on-call after hours and at weekends. Surgical specialties covered include: General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dental, and Acute/Trauma.Who is an appropriate applicant?You will be an experienced Theatre RN, EN, or RNAA with the ability to care for patients undergoing a variety of acute and elective surgical procedures.
