Support Worker - Picton

Details of the offer

As a Support Worker in Picton and Blenheim, you will be working within the community supporting a variety of individuals to live happy and meaningful lives. A day in this role will see you providing support with personal care plans and household duties. Tasks will include assistance with showering, dressing, mobility, medication support, hosiery application, housework, and meal preparation.
We are seeking employees to work approximately 20 - 40 hours per week.
Operating Monday through Sunday, the successful permanent applicants will be offered guaranteed hours and agreed work times, inclusive of morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
Having availability to work at least alternate weekends is preferred.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Be professional, honest, and reliable.
Be friendly in your approach, passionate about working with people, and providing a high level of care for our clients.
Be fit and able to achieve all tasks associated with the position, including bending, crouching, and long periods of time on your feet.
Hold a full New Zealand driver's license and have your own reliable transport.
Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
