A minimum of two years acute paediatric and/or neonatal nursing experience in New Zealand is preferred.

You will be working in a combined paediatric and neonatal department where you will get the chance to work with children and their families and whanau in our well-equipped, friendly environment. The paediatric/neonatal unit is a small, vibrant, inpatient unit catering for neonates and children from 0-16 years who require either acute or elective medical and surgical services. The unit is co-located alongside our paediatric outpatient department.

You will be a NZ registered nurse with neonatal and/or paediatric experience and a passion for child health nursing.

Our vibrant nursing team consists of staff who share passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care to children. We are well supported by on-site Paediatricians and work in close partnership with allied health and maternity colleagues. You will be further assisted with excellent educational opportunities and our paediatric/neonatal nurse educator.
