Murchison Aged Residential Care Hospital and Health Centre Casual position Rural Location Nga mohiohio e pa ana ki tenei mahi (About this position) The Murchison Community Hospital and Health Centre provides an integrated service of Primary Health, In Patient and PRIME care. The Health Centre has 5 day a week GP or Nurse Practitioner clinics alongside daily Registered Nurse clinics. The Hospital has 6 aged care beds and 2 flexible beds, allowing for assessment and observation, respite, palliative and rehabilitation care. Shifts are rostered and rotating across AM: 0700-1530 , PM: 1430-2300 , and Night 2245-0715 shifts. Ko wai he kaitono totika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?) Post-registration experience in an acute or primary health care setting is preferred, although not essential. A Primary Response in Medical Emergency (PRIME) certificate, or an Advanced Life Support certificate is desirable.
