We have permanent fulltime or part time (minimum 0.8 FTE) RN positions available within the Interventional Radiology & Cardiology Service at Wellington Hospital. The focus of the role is assisting with and providing high-quality care to patients undergoing Interventional Radiology & Cardiology procedures and is similar to working in Operating Theatres. The working hours for the role are 8-hour shifts between 0730 – 1800 Monday – Friday with some overtime required and participation in an afterhours on-call roster expected once fully trained. Duties include:Providing nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology or cardiology proceduresAssisting with interventional procedures in scrub & circulating nurse rolesPreparing patients effectively for proceduresSafely caring for patients following proceduresMaintaining a safe environment within the departmentWe offer an excellent working environment in a very friendly & supportive team.
