Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora – Kerikeri, North IslandPermanent, part time (0.9 FTE) working 36 hours per weekTravel to and from other dialysis units across Northland as and when requiredAbout the Role and TeamWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join the team in Bay of Islands as a part of our Renal Service.The primary functions of this role are provision of safe and therapeutic Haemodialysis treatments to Northland patients and to provide supportive care to patients with ESRF, ARF and to those receiving Home Haemodialysis throughout Northland including satellite unit/s.About youEssential RequirementsRegistered Nurse/Registered Comprehensive Nurse with current practicing certificateA minimum 2 years clinical experience post-graduationA commitment to work towards accomplishment of Competent PDRP levelHas or is working towards a post graduate qualification with a renal focusThe ability to work within a multidisciplinary teamPrevious experience in Renal/Haemodialysis is desirable.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
