The Opportunity
We are looking for a registered nurse to join our fantastic Nursing team!
The Gastroenterology Service is one of the fastest growing departments in the hospital. As a gastroenterology nurse, you will utilize a wide range of skills and knowledge to succeed in an ever-changing clinical environment.
Gastroenterology includes being involved in:
ERCP
IBD
Hepatology
PEGs
Bowel Screening
Nursing Assessments
Emergency Procedures
The shifts are weekdays with 0730 – 0900 starts and a rotating on-call roster (24/7). The available FTE is 1.0, but we can be flexible for the right person.
Minimum Requirements:
APC
Minimum of 2 years NZ nursing experience
Minimum of 1 year NZ Acute Nursing (hospital) experience
Team player – You must have a positive attitude and a good work ethic
Preferred Skills:
Gastroenterology nursing background is beneficial but not vital as we have an excellent orientation.
PDRP level 3
Critical thinking
A drive to learn new skills
