Korero mo te turanga – About the role Our Emergency Department is a fast paced acute environment providing quality care for patients, we work in a quick decision making environment, where you will utilise your nursing judgement to assess health needs and support people to manage their health, in an emergency setting.
You will be supported by other health professionals.
We are looking for nurses who are looking for long term commitment and keen to develop their skills and knowledge in emergency department setting.
We will support your development and have several pathways into furthering education such as the CNS pathway, ACNM and educators role.
We will also look at NETP nurses to start their training and learn within our Emergency Department.

Mou – About you RN Practising Certificate Current New Zealand experience as an Registered Nurse on the ward ideally in an emergency ward or acute setting Post Graduate qualification Comprehensive knowledge of the NZ health system and the Hospital environment, systems and processes Knowledge of the trends and emerging issues for the nursing profession.
