You will provide holistic nursing care and support to a variety of clients in Winton and surrounding areas, ranging from terminal care to post-discharge follow-up. This is the perfect opportunity for those of you who have broad experience from a surgical, medical, or community setting, and of course, you'll love to work autonomously within the community. This is a casual position on an as and when required basis.About youYou must be registered in accordance with the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 as a Registered Nurse and possess a current Practising Certificate.To be successful in this role you will have the ability to communicate effectively, be self-motivated and tactful with a caring attitude, be able to cope in stressful situations, and work as part of a team.Our ideal candidate will have:A full, clean driver's licence is essential for this position.Varied nursing experience of 3-5 years including acute clinical, surgical, and medical nursing.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
