Rostered and rotating position available in our haemodialysis nursing team working across our 3 dialysis units.
The Wellington Hospital dialysis unit has 10 treatment areas and provides haemodialysis treatment to inpatients and outpatients both on an acute and chronic basis and is operational 7 days a week.
The 24-station satellite dialysis unit at Kenepuru Hospital provides haemodialysis treatment to outpatients and is operational 7 days a week.
Te Whare Takihi mo te Katoa, a 16-station satellite dialysis unit located in the Hutt Valley Health Hub next to Hutt Hospital is operational 7 days a week.
The successful applicant will need to be able to work across the 3 dialysis units on a day-to-day basis.
This position will be a new challenge in your nursing career with the opportunity to develop clinical skills in a specialty area.

Team members facilitate a friendly and supportive environment, where all team members are valued and appreciated for what they bring to the team.
All our registered nurses work across our three dialysis units, which provides the opportunity and experience of working in different settings, where clinical practice and oversight is the same in each unit.
Team members are well supported by senior nurses within the renal service.
We are looking forward to moving into our new hospital-based dialysis unit end of September.

You will have good patient assessment skills and be able to use clinical judgement to plan and deliver patient treatment.
