About the role
Here in Dunedin Hospital's Children's Ward, we are fortunate to have a modern and bright workspace with excellent facilities to ensure the very best possible care for our young patients and their families/whanau.
Collaborate as part of a friendly and supportive team on a multi-specialty ward.
The ward caters for children in our region aged 0-15 years.
This role will be placed on rostered shifts, 24/7.
About you
Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand
Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused
Experience in a paediatric setting with prior involvement in child and family health
A passion and focus for working with families/whanau with compassion and kindness
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
Experience in projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings

Salary range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the RN Pay Scale, between $86,519 and $106,739 p.a dependant on relevant experience.
