We have a casual position available, this covers sick leave and other unexpected gaps in our roster. This will suit people who like flexibility and are looking for the ability to work shifts that fit in with their personal life.About the ServiceThe Regional Renal Service provides acute and chronic Renal services for Waikato, Lakes, Bay of Plenty and Tairawhiti. This includes all aspects of renal care including Hospital based dialysis, Home therapies for both Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis, Chronic Kidney Disease and Renal Transplantation. We are the second largest Renal service in New Zealand.About youKnowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o WaitangiExperience in Haemodiafiltration and Haemodialysis desirableRegistered nurse with at least 2 years post-basic experience in Renal nursing or general hospital experienceDemonstrate the ability to manage a case load of patients with complex health needsBe hardworking and a team playerBe available to work at short notice of a variety of hours Monday to SaturdayBe eligible to live and work in New Zealand with a current practising certificateCompetency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growthExperience in upholding Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.A full 6 week training programme will be given.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
