About the Role Ward 10 nurses care for patients who have undergone either acute or elective cardiothoracic surgery and cardiology procedures. The nurses on Ward 10 are involved in pre and post-operative care of the cardiothoracic patient, acute pain management with chest traumas, and rib fixation surgery. We are also involved in the care of acute and elective cardiology patients who present with chest pain requiring cath lab procedures, TAVI's electrophysiology procedures, and heart failure management.
You will have amazing support to help facilitate learning through our Nurse Educator and Clinical Nurse Specialists due to our wide variety of both medical and surgical skill sets.
About the Service Ward 10 is a 27-bed ward and is one of our combined medical and surgical wards which specializes in Cardiothoracic Surgery and Cardiology.
