The Role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the sales market in wider Otago and Southland region, providing technical advice on the business' products and building strong commercial relationships to ultimately drive market share.
Key to your success will be your ability to influence specification of the business's products with architects, designers and end users of the system ranges, through presentations and technical assistance.
More specifically you will be responsible for:
Working with the National Sales Manager to develop the annual sales strategy for your region Designing and executing business plans and initiatives to ensure the regions targets are realized Maintaining and establishing strong commercial relationships with architects and commercial partners, maximising sales by providing technical advice/specifications and apprising them of any product developments/offerings Generating accurate, timely, specifications of products and systems for inclusion in tender documents to ensure their success Developing new business and identifying opportunities that will contribute to the success of the overall business performance Developing and delivering presentations to architectural practices, trade shows and seminars Working collaboratively with the National Sales Manager to manage key national accounts. Your Background Solid background as a sales professional with a proven history of sales success in the building/construction industry IT literate and proficient with the use of CRMs and the MS Office suite Intermediate to advanced understanding of the construction and architectural sales environment An understanding of the building code essential Experience in dealing with commercial and residential builders, assisting in solving on-site technical challenges as required.
