Regional Sales Manager Responsible for managing existing key accounts and developing new business, while overseeing three direct reports to ensure seamless service delivery for clients throughout the Otago region.
About The Role
This is a regional management position with a strong emphasis on sales and service delivery for key accounts throughout the area. Primarily focused on the civil and construction sectors, this client prioritises execution and delivery to ensure smooth project operations while fostering long-lasting relationships. You will oversee three direct reports who will support daily regional operations, allowing you to concentrate on maintaining key relationships and identifying new opportunities. This role blends operational management with sales, leveraging your leadership and expertise to ensure the region's long-term success. Reporting to the National Manager, you will play a crucial role in the region, responsible for negotiations, site meetings, service delivery, and overall operational performance.
Operationally and sales-focused, this role ensures the successful execution of key accounts and new business while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
Operating throughout the Otago Region—covering Cromwell, Dunedin, and Invercargill—this role involves regular site visits and meetings with clients on various projects across the area.
Overseeing three direct reports who will assist you with the region's daily operational needs.
The primary point of contact for key accounts in the region, responsible for sales, operations, negotiations, contracts, and customer service needs.
About You
This role seeks a proactive individual with knowledge and experience in the construction and civil industry, ideally with a background in heavy machinery and vehicles. Experience in a Management role either Operationally or Sales
Experience working within the construction and civil industry - ideally with knowledge or experience with heavy machinery and vehicles
A natural leader who can quickly build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
Driven, upbeat, organised and adaptable
