Company -  One of Australia's private mobile crushing and screening OEM's is looking to expand on its existing team and looking for a regional Sales manager to be based in New Zealand. They have been operating in the Australian market since 1990. They have small but very professional team of mineral processing professionals. You will be supported for senior management but you will be asked to stand on your own two feet and develop your own customers. This role certainly has its challenges and there are a number of key competitors that you will up against. The role is about building relationships and driving market share but also building and creating your own business within a business. They already have an established construction business in Auckland, but we are now seeking an RSM that can drive mobile crushing screening equipment throughout all of NZ. Job Opportunity -  My client is particularly tough and unfortunately doesn't suffer fools, He has been burned many times by senior sales professionals coming on-board saying that they can deliver million and millions of dollars in sales but then making up constant issues why they can't sell the equipment. This makes it tough for anyone joining the company. I have successfully placed twelve candidates in this company and one of them has been in the role for over 13 years and he is doing very well. He said that you have to work really hard and put your head down and give it your all. The other employees has been there for over 5 years and is also working like a Trojan. Hopefully this hasn't scared you off but to sell crushers and screens you really need to have the gift of the gab and have the magic skills to make this role a true success. Cold calling and developing new business is a crucial part of this job. The other part is regular call cycles and being all over your business and knowing what is happening and how you're going to play each customer. You have the following products to sell or hire.  ScreensImpactorsJaw CrashersCone CrushersTrommelsShredders GrindersWashing equipment Weighing equipment Conveyors The company also provides hire of this equipment and also parts and services which you can also sell on. You're going to be selling to huge variety clients but you're mainly going to be focusing on quarries, mineral processing yards, bulk material handling, Forestry, land clearing and heavy construction clients.  You will have to travel because you going to be required all over NZ and if you take up this role in Auckland it will be everything south to Christchurch. With yearly conferences and also company events you need to have the freedom to travel on the rep that works there he has clocked up over 120,000k for the year, which will give you and understanding of travel.  Experience Required  You MUST have sold Mobile crusher and screens, If you have worked for one of the major competitors this your in because the client wants someone that not only understand the products but has customer listed throughout New Zealand. You need to be very strong in Sales and be able to build repour with customerHighly motivated Willingness to travelStrong understanding technically of crushing equipment If you have a trade background that defiantly hep. On offer is great earning potential for someone that backs themselves and wants to really make a difference in their salary package. You will be offered base salary of $130,000 - $150,000 + Company 4WD + tools of trade + full training and support from the team and engineering manager. Were you make your earning is in your commissions it's a uncapped structure that can see you doubling your base salary but also taking it even further.
