Chevron Traffic is a rapidly expanding Traffic Management business devoted to the safety of our workers, clients and the general public. We are in a growth phase, looking at expanding through-out NZ with our traffic and training services, meaning this is a really exciting time to join our team! We are now looking to add a Regional Manager - South Island to our team as we expand further into new regions.
The role:
This is a hybrid role and will involve establishing new business opportunities and customer relationships, managing operations, leading and managing our people and ensuring safety and compliance services.
We are looking for a relationship superstar, and someone to ensure we deliver absolute excellent services. You will be 100% responsible for the delivery of our services and for our teams working in your region.
To succeed in this role you will be a true all-rounder, self-motivated, solution focused, have a safety mindset and a customer centric individual who is driven by targets and results. You will strive to achieve 100% customer satisfaction with your "under promise, over deliver" philosophy. You will manage and measure key business metrics to ensure we are performing in all key business areas.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone who will make this role their own, go the extra mile and ensure high quality work gets done in an efficient manner. We like a person who isn't afraid of getting their hands dirty!
Ideally you will come with traffic management knowledge and experience to be able to confidently work with our clients, staff and suppliers and provide proactive solutions. You will have excellent communication and numerical skills, great attention to detail and be able to deal with people at all levels. You do not shy away from tough situations and are able to work under pressure and tight and often conflicting deadlines.
The normal days of work are Monday to Friday and occasional weekends to support your teams. This won't be your typical 9-5 job.
In return, you will be working with a great team, a brilliant boss and competitive remuneration. We will provide a lot of support, guidance and training to the right candidate to ensure the ChevWay of working is well represented in this future candidate.
