We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to take on the newly created Southern Regional Lead role for an HVAC commissioning company servicing projects from Taupo through to Invercargill.About The RoleThe role of the Regional Lead (Southern) is to drive the growth and expansion of the Southern region covering from Lower North Island and South Island. In this role you will oversee and manage HVAC commissioning projects; your primary focus will be business development (50%), ensuring project delivery (30%), and managing day-to-day operations (20%).The role will report directly to the General Manager and manage approximately 6 Technicians/Engineers across Wellington, Christchurch & Dunedin. Regular travel will be expected, at least one week out of the month on the road.Key Responsibilities:Business Development & Growth (50%): Primary contact for clients in the Southern region. Identifying new leads and business opportunities. Building strong relationships and driving revenue growth.Project & Resource Management (30%): Manage multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Oversee quality and project documentation processes, ensuring that all commissioning reports, project updates, and technical documentation are accurately maintained and organised. Provide leadership to your team. Excellent financial management and planning abilities.Office, Business Operations & Health and Safety (20%): Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Southern office. Participate in senior leadership meetings and contribute to company-wide initiatives. A dedication to maintaining safe work environments and adherence to all health and safety protocols. Assist in the internal recruitment process and employee development.Skills & Experience Required:Proven experience in business development and growth roles, preferably within the Engineering or Construction Industry.Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build long-term relationships.A deep understanding of project cost control and budgeting with exceptional leadership skills.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, business, or a related field.Full driver's license and ability to travel.What we offer:Salary between $120,000 to $140,000 per annum (based on experience).All the tools provided (Vehicle, Fuel Card, Phone, Laptop, iPad).Free medical insurance after 3 months tenure.Leadership development and one-on-one coaching with an external coach.If you're looking for a new challenge and have the relevant experience in a similar role or experience working within the construction sector and looking for a change into a leadership role, then get in touch with Tanisha from RobLawMax for a confidential chat.Email: ******: 0273331893
