Support the operational team at CARTERS achieve success in safety.This is a key role within the Carters H&S team. Reporting to the National Health & Safety Manager, the role provides support for multiple branches and three manufacturing sites across the region. You will build relationships with Area & Site Managers, and their employees on a daily basis - visiting sites, providing advice and expertise, and driving safety management forward.Responsibilities include:Maintaining and coordinating SMS activities across various BranchesDriving compliance activities, improvement planning & implementation, investigations, and corrective actionsTraining and guidance in all things H&S, including being the specialist 'go-to' person for Managers and team membersHelping to drive a positive and safe working culture across all sitesYou will have the following:Hands-on EHS experience within a medium to large organisation including sound H&S knowledge of NZ legislative requirements.Proven ability to influence at management and branch/factory floor levelPassion for safetyA highly motivated and organised work ethic, with strong attention to detailA clean driver's license, and the ability to travel as requiredA relevant tertiary qualification is preferred but not essentialABOUT USCARTERS is a unique New Zealand owned and operated business and we've helped build the country for over 150 years.
