Job Description:
Mars is a family-owned business with more than $35 billion in global sales , we're passionate about our people and looking for an exceptional Field Manager to join our Sales team.
This is an important and exciting role in our business, in which the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and motivating the Upper North Island Grocery Field sales team to deliver sales and profit to the business, ensuring effective execution of field activities, a distribution focus and strong customer relationships.
This role works closely with the Foodstuffs & WWNZ Business Managers to ensure a cohesive approach to planning and delivery of results across all accounts.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and motivate the Regional field sales team.
Planning and executing category/customer and account strategies for the region.
Manage costs including trade spend effectiveness.
Build strong relationships with key customers/suppliers and account associates.
Interpret and leverage sales data and insights.
Improve and implement field team processes and communication.
What you will have:
Strong experience in people leadership, preferably leading regional or national teams.
Ability to motivate and hold stakeholders accountable.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong drive for results.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and an independent learner.
