Regional Driver Trainer Manager A newly established role managing our driver training framework and team!
Reference: 6671447 We are looking for an experienced people leader to support our Tranzurban team of driver trainers who deliver our driver trainer programme for our team of urban bus drivers.
As Regional Driver Trainer Manager you will oversee a team of 10 indirect reports to ensure the delivery and success of our Tranzurban training objectives whilst maximising the efficiencies and resources across our training teams in Auckland, Wellington and the Hutt Valley.
This role will be based in Wellington region to have proximity with our regional driver training team as part of the wider Tranzit group of companies.

Supportive team environment The role: Engage and motivate our team of Tranzurban driver trainers, ensuring collective knowledge and experience is used effectively, whilst also resourcing the training workload efficiently.
Oversee the consistent delivery of our driver trainer programme to ensure we are meeting our internal framework and contractual requirements.
Foster the growth and development of our driver trainers through coaching, mentoring and ongoing support.
Work collaboratively with our Head of Safety, Training and Development, and our Tranzurban GMS to improve, develop and optimise our training framework.
Analyse, report and measure the delivery, costs and outcomes of our training programmes to inform decision making in the future.
We are looking for: Previous experience in a training and/or development role at a senior level to show understanding of technical training techniques.
Strong and proven leadership skills with an engaging approach to training and coaching.
A pro-active and focused communication style to interact at all levels.
A Class 4 licence and P endorsement essential with a minimum of 2 years' experience in those licence classes.
Computer savvy with the ability to maintain accurate records in our systems.
