We have an exciting opportunity for someone to step into the Refrigeration Installation Technician position in our Christchurch based Refrigeration Contracts team.
We are looking for someone who can use their training and experience to meet the installation objectives of the South Island Refrigeration Contracts Department. This is a hands-on role which will be based predominately in the field and responsible for on-site installation.
Key responsibilities will include:
Provide "hands-on" installation and other services on projects for the Refrigeration Contracts Department
Maintaining health and safety standards
We are seeking someone who possesses the below experience and attributes:
Understanding of Refrigeration and HVAC systems
Ability to learn on the job and follow instructions
Be fit and have a good knowledge of hand tools
Able to work autonomously and unsupervised as needed
Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
Well organised with the ability to meet deadlines, plan, and prioritise
This role is based in Christchurch, with the requirement to travel around New Zealand (predominantly South Island) when required.
Experience working in the refrigeration industry is an advantage (but not essential)
