This role will provide mostly 'work from home (WFH)' options, significant flexibility and the opportunity to make good money!
You'll work with a small and respected boutique agency (family-owned), have a great boss, and be valued and treated like family as part of this very small team.
We're growing and need a genuine new Star to join our team.
We're not looking for just anyone - and so tyre kickers, nutters and no-hopers needn't apply.
We're only small, but we're very good; we work hard, we have fun, and we're passionate about our business, getting it right, and keeping everyone happy!
Recruitment Skills/Experience & Personal Traits/Attributes We're open-minded about who our new Star will be, but whoever they are, serious contenders will need to possess most of the following skills, experience, attributes and personality traits: Two or more years of agency recruitment experience, preferably with temp desk experience and the ability to build the desk; Interested in adding/growing perm opportunities; Naturally intelligent, quick to learn new skills, able to think on their feet and witty; Excellent communication skills and phone manner, including excellent spoken and written English with the ability to construct professional email communications; Relaxed, fun and open-minded (no super serious prudes or stress-heads, please) with a good sense of humour; Particularly good people skills with a warm and friendly personality; A strong work ethic and commitment to employer, role, clients and candidates; Excellent attention to detail and quality control; Team player who can also work individually; Resilient and able to manage stress positively; Punctual, dependable, responsible, and accountable; Honest, trustworthy, and loyal; Plenty of common sense and initiative; Passion for doing a fantastic job, winning, and succeeding; A positive, glass-half-full person with a can-do approach to work and life.
No whiners, backstabbers, or clock watchers, please; A genuine focus on delivering customer service excellence and enjoyment from going the extra mile to keep clients happy and achieve business, financial and career success!
Other System, Computer, Admin, Digital, Marketing Skills These are NOT mandatory but would be a bonus!
Computer savvy with good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and a very good knowledge of internet, social media and other business applications and mobile apps; Better than average keyboard skills, both speed and accuracy.
Touch typing would be a bonus; Good with numbers and have a basic understanding of accounts/accounting.
A knowledge of Xero would be a bonus; An understanding of websites (Shazamme), social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X), digital marketing, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, email marketing (e.g., HubSpot, Mail Chimp, Active Campaign), ATS/CRM systems (JobAdder) etc.
is NOT mandatory but would be a bonus.
Note: We realise it is unlikely applicants will have ALL the above, and training will obviously be provided, but we're hoping to find that gem who already has most of what we're looking for!
The Key Responsibilities Include Phone answering (not huge volumes), including client and candidate calls, job orders, candidate registrations, problem-solving, complaints, suppliers etc.
; Reviewing and screening Job Applications and CVs; Communicating and scheduling temp/contract staff to fill client job openings; Responsibility for managing and updating our CRM (JobAdder) database (data entry); Working with and supervising a Virtual Assistant based in the Philippines; Occasional sole charge responsibilities.
Our office is very casual, relaxed, friendly and homely.
Having said that, you will have the luxury (once fully trained) to work from home most of the time if the job is being done well and KPIs/objectives are met.
Being a dog/puppy lover will be a bonus as we've just had a cute new team member join us, a 9-week-old, purebred, tri-colour Border Collie puppy named Bear!
In closing, this is a very key position in our small agency, and so we really need the RIGHT person with the right skills, experience, team fit and personality.
We'll even consider helping make the job fit the person (in need) in terms of the number of hours per week, start and finish times etc.
