What You'll Be Doing: In recruitment, no two days are the same, and that's part of the excitement!
While the role can be a rollercoaster at times, your core responsibilities will include: Client Engagement: Forge strong relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and delivering effective solutions.Candidate Sourcing: Use job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals to identify and attract top talent.Screening & Interviews: Conduct interviews to assess candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit for various roles.Market Knowledge: Stay ahead of industry trends, salary benchmarks, and market dynamics to provide informed advice to clients and candidates.Business Development: Proactively grow your client base through strategic sales activities.Database Management: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of clients and candidates in our database.
What We're Looking For: Proven Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Recruitment Consultant in New Zealand, ideally within construction or warehousing/logistics.Industry Insight: Deep knowledge of the blue-collar sector, including roles, skills, and market trends.Outstanding Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage confidently and effectively.Results-Oriented: A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.Team Spirit: A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a team-focused environment.
