Recreation Coordinator/s - Artificial Turfs (Fixed Term) The role Gain valuable Sport and Recreation industry experience in this fixed term role for Winter. Assist with the coordination of all aspects of Selwyn Sports Centre's artificial turfs. Liaising with user groups, facility presentation and community promotion. Maintaining a safe environment for all of our customers Actively be involved in the successful set up, pack down and delivery of programmes. Provide professional, friendly and courteous Customer Service We have two part time - fixed term positions available, both roles are predominantly evening and weekend work. Both roles require and early April start, finishing late August. One 8-hours per week and one 17-hours per week. About you Our ideal candidate will have previous experience participating in sport and recreation activities or events with an understanding of the operational side of facilities, however full training will be offered to the "right" candidate. You will be an effective communicator and comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people. Enjoy building and maintaining positive relationships. Deliver exceptional service to our artificial turf customers. Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance. Above all, you are proactive, positive, and keen to learn.
