What you will be doing Reporting to the Claims Recoveries Manager, the Recoveries & Settlements Specialist will support the team to minimize the impact of claims costs for Tower which in turn, keeps insurance affordable for our customers.
Dive into the Heart of Your Responsibilities: Seek to recover costs from both third-party insurers and uninsured third parties in the shortest possible timeframe with the intention of maximizing the chance of a successful recovery.
Use your negotiation skills to reach an agreeable settlement whilst mitigating the chance of entering a litigation process.
Pursue the recovery of claims right through to Disputes Tribunal if you have not been able to reach an agreeable settlement.
Refer files that have not had successful contact to third-party agents and assist them with any inquiries they may have in their attempts to make contact.
What You'll Need To be successful in this role, you will also demonstrate the following: 2 years' experience in the Insurance or Financial Services Industry preferred.
Experience of Recoveries, Settlement or Disputes Tribunal proceeding is an advantage.
Frontline or contact centre experience.
An understanding of Insurance liability.
