As part of our commitment to deliver excellence and great outcomes for our customers and partners, we are growing our Operations team and recruiting for a Recoveries Officer.
The role: You will play a pivotal role in championing the continued development and delivery of recoveries and collections.
This is a hands-on position, with great opportunities to improve process and efficiency driving business results.
Key responsibilities will include: Talking to third parties when claims are lodged to determine whether they are insured or uninsured and accepting or disputing liability Selecting the best collection strategy for each case Drive outcomes with trace agents, investigators and debt collection agencies and generate positive outcomes for the business Working closely with the claims case managers to ensure a solid understanding of the claim plus ensuring costs are finalised quickly Managing cases going to disputes tribunal Continually monitoring each case to ensure everything that can be done is being done Adhere to collection rate targets and find ways to continually increase our collection rate Develop and maintain reporting of key recoveries metrics.
What we're looking for: An exceptional communicator who encourages cross collaboration and innovative thinking.Analytical mind and a natural problem solver.Someone with a passion for improving processes and delivering efficiencies.3 years' collections/recoveries experience preferred.You should be comfortable with conflict management and negotiations and be motivated by results.Insurance or Financial Services Industry experience is desirable but not essential.Why Join Us?
