Your role as a Veterinary Receptionist is vital to ensuring exceptional care and support in our emergency animal hospital.
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will provide exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.
This fast-paced environment requires you to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.
Key Responsibilities: Front Desk Management: Greet clients and their pets with compassion and professionalism.
Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently manage a high volume of phone calls and in-person inquiries.
Patient Records: Accurately maintain and update patient records.
Financial Transactions: Handle billing and process payments.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
Crisis Management: Remain composed during emergencies, assisting clients and staff.
Multi-tasking: Balance various responsibilities in a busy environment.

Our reception is open: 7:30am – 8pm Monday to Friday.
Set shifts will be available between the above hours.
Shifts currently available are Monday to Friday 3pm – 8pm.
Will be required to work 1 weekend per month.
You will be employed at our ARC North clinic but trained at both sites.
Flexibility during the training period will be needed.
You must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
Starting wage: $26 per hour.
