Company Description Karori Dental Centre has been serving the wider community and Karori for 35+ years and is known as a caring and professional dental practice.
We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our practice, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience from the moment they walk through our doors. It will be rewarding as no two days are the same, and it is a pleasure to see people leaving with a smile on their faces!
Job Description Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, making them feel at ease in person and over the phone.
Assist patients with making and confirming appointment bookings for our clinicians.
Respond to patient emails and queries.
Process payments, banking, and ad hoc administrative tasks.
Liaise with clinicians and support staff.
Train reception staff with dental assisting duties to provide cover for clinical and sterilisation support staff.
The Hours for the role are:
Monday: 8.15am - 5.30pm
Tuesday: 8.15am - 5.45pm
Thursday: 8.15am - 5.30pm
Friday: 8.15am - 5.15pm
Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous experience as a receptionist or in the dental industry is beneficial but not essential; full training will be provided.
Customer-facing and/or sterilisation experience.
A natural team spirit and a genuine interest in contributing to the warmth of the team.
Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
Computer savvy skills with the ability to pick up things quickly.
Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
Job Location
Karori is a suburb less than 10 minutes drive from the Wellington CBD.
Easy access to public transport - on main bus route.
