On the Shores of Lake Ohau nestled on 10 hectares is a 72 room Alpine Lodge. The owners have created an amazing recipe that has stood the test of time that has generation after generation returning over winter to unwind and ski their hearts out. Summer is no slouch either, with the lodge being a prime stop for the Alps to Ocean cycle trail.

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests have a memorable experience during their stay at our lodge. From your welcoming personality and smile, to your organisation of information for the departments to use, no two days are the same.
This is a full time permanent role.
Responsibilities: Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the lodge
Handle guest inquiries and provide information about lodge facilities, services, and local attractions
Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
Manage reservations and ensure accurate room assignments
Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
Ensure guest accounts are presented accurately
Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences

Qualifications/Experience/Skills: Experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
Proficiency in using computer systems and software
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
