Job Description As a Receptionist you will be the face and voice of the practice. A typical day will see you assisting our patients with their enquiries, generating and confirming appointment bookings, completing payment processing, banking, and other ad hoc administrative duties.
It will be rewarding as no 2 days are the same, and what a pleasure to see people leaving with a smile on their faces!
Duties To greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner and make them feel at ease in person and over the phone. Assist patients with making and confirming appointment bookings for our clinicians.
Respond to patients emails and queries Process payments and administrative tasks Liasing with Clinicians and support staff We like to train out reception staff with dental assisting duties so they can provide cover for clinical and sterilisation support staff The Hours for the role are: Monday: 8.15am - 5.30pm Tuesday 8.15am - 5,45pm Wednesday: 8.15am - 5.30pm Thursday: 8.15am to 5.30pm Friday 8.15 to 5.15pm Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will bring: Previous experience as a receptionist or in the dental industry is beneficial but not essential -full training will be provided Ideally, customer-facing and/or sterilisation experience Warm and positive attitude and team-orientated approach.
Strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
Computer savvy skills with the ability to pick up things quickly.
Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
