Due to internal promotion, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a competent administrator with strong English-Chinese translation skills. The successful applicant will be supporting our Chinese Community while showcasing their exceptional reception and administration skills. The primary purpose of this position is to provide high-quality translation, reception, and administrative services. The successful applicant will undertake tasks of a diverse nature and at all times deliver timely, accurate, and innovative administrative support services that meet school needs. These include:
Providing high-quality verbal and written English–Chinese translation services at receptionEnsuring priority to front-of-house phone, courier, and visitor contactDistribution of incoming emails and information line requestsMaintaining excellent working relationships with administration, enrolments, Deans secretary, senior leaders secretary, HR manager, and teaching staff.Our successful applicant will thrive in our collegial, supportive bustling environment. Your previous manager will attest to your ability to attend to visitors while juggling couriers, staff, and incoming calls and applaud your ability to relate to people of all levels, cultures, and ages in a calm and welcoming manner.
Experience in a school environment is a bonus, although initiative, critical thinking, empathy, and adjusting to the ebb and flow of school life is paramount.
