Permanent, Full Time Christchurch / Otautahi We are seeking an experienced Receptionist / Administrator to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and organised professional to support the daily operations of Mahaanui Kurataiao. In this role, you'll be at the heart of ensuring our systems run smoothly, providing essential administration and communication support that allows our team to focus on their core work. As the first point of contact for our manuhiri, you will provide a warm and professional reception service, reflecting our manaakitanga. You'll also be responsible for administering our office systems, offering general administrative support, serving as a minute secretary when needed for various hui, including those with our board, Runanga, and staff, and handling financial management and reporting systems. Key Responsibilities: Provide high level, professional administrative support. Administer office systems and offer general administrative support. Serve as a minute secretary for various hui. Handle financial management and reporting systems. Minimum Requirements: 1-2 years' experience working in resource management, or an equivalent environmental discipline would be advantageous. Strong personal communication skills and a collaborative working style that enables you to work with a wide range of people. Exceptional time and project management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with the Te Tiriti o Waitangi. An openness to embrace the values and aspirations of Ngai Tahu whanui and an interest to grow your cultural understanding in te ao Maori. Mahaanui Kurataiao is a charitable environmental management and advisory company. Our aim is to assist and improve the recognition and protection of tangata whenua values within our takiwa. Mahaanui Kurataiao supports the Runanga in achieving their objectives and aspirations for environmental management in their takiwa through advice and ongoing support of their projects.
