Southern Bird NZ Ltd – Auckland airport, North IslandThis is an exciting opportunity to join the team at our busy Auckland Airport Motel as it goes through renovations and rebranding.As a part of our reception team in this part-time role, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our motel located near Auckland Airport, as well as providing a safe and reliable shuttle service to our guests arriving and departing through the day.What you'll be doingOverseeing the smooth and efficient running of the motel during the night shift, ensuring all guests receive exceptional serviceProviding a safe and reliable airport shuttle service for our guestsHandling guest enquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the dayCompleting administrative tasks such as check-ins/outs, answering phone calls, and updating recordsEnsuring the hotel's facilities and public areas are well-maintained and cleaned to a high standardAssisting with any other duties as required to support the overall operations of the hotelWhat we're looking forExperience in a similar reception, reservations or guest services role within the hospitality industryExcellent customer service skills and the ability to deliver a warm and welcoming experience to all guestsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle a variety of situations effectivelyFlexibility to work shifts both day and at least one night, as this is a 24/7 operationA valid driver's licenceFluency in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionallyWhat we offerWe are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
