This position is crucial to ensuring the smooth running of administrative functions and supporting clinical staff in delivering high-quality care to patients and whanau.The Administrator is an integral part of ICAMHS, responsible for a wide range of tasks, including managing reception, patient documentation, and referrals; coordinating schedules for therapists; and supporting two outpatient clinics. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service, as it involves direct interaction with patients and their families. This position plays a vital role in maintaining an efficient, welcoming environment and enabling clinicians to focus on patient care.About the Team / Service / Location:Our services cater to individuals up to their 20th birthday, with flexibility for transition to adult services through to age 25 as needed. We specifically support:Infants, children, adolescents, and youth with, or suspected of having, mental health and/or alcohol and drug-related disorders.Individuals experiencing psychological disorders, including severe emotional and behavioral disturbances.Families, whanau, and significant others involved in the care and support of service users.Those affected by a significant other's mental health issues.Community members seeking information about mental health and addiction, treatment, and prevention.The ideal candidate will have:Strong organisational skillswith the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsto provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with patients, whanau, and staff.Proficiency in administrative systems and processes, including managing electronic and paper-based records and using patient management systems.Attention to detail and accuracyin handling referrals, scheduling, and data input to ensure seamless support for clinical teams.
