Reception/Administrator

We are a tight knit people focused team, proud to be operating in the thriving tourist destination of Taupo region, welcoming people from across the globe and sharing our small slice of the world.As Rapids Jet's new Receptionist – Administrator (Casual), you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service experience to our manuhiri (guests). You'll be a multitasker in a varied day (no day the same) of making reservations, retail sales, stock coordination, administrative support, photography and physically fit and are guaranteed to meet amazing people from around the world as you share our culture, excitement and thrills and help create unforgettable memories for our manuhiri!This role allows you to work within the beautiful scenery New Zealand has to offer, with the crystal clear Waikato River at your feet while immersed within the stunning wildlife and bush of the Rotokawa area.It will be a must that you can work public holidays, school holidays & weekends, with rostered days off scheduled between Monday - Friday.We are looking for someone with:Ability to work on weekends, public holidays & school holidaysLove for outdoors, nature & excitementA charismatic presence within the workplaceKnowledge of operating POS booking systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEager to pronounce Te Reo Maori names & terms correctlyBasic Accounting experience would be an advantageAdventure tourism experience would be an advantageApplications for this position close Sunday, 1 December 2024 or when a suitable applicant has been found.
