Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity This role will lead and enable a team accountable for monitoring and managing the transport network (all modes, assets and facilities) in real time, mitigating and implementing network improvement interventions and making critical decisions that enhances the safety and customer journeys.
You will: Supervise and support team members to deliver business efficiently and effectively.Ensures development objectives are in place for all staff to maintain and build the capability of their team(s).
Demonstrates a strong commitment to implementation of these objectives and ensures monitoring systems are in place to measure progress.Supports the Senior Operator and Shift Lead in the implementation of the real time strategies.Set, monitor and review direct report performance objectives in line with the Performance & Development Plan (PDP) process.Interpret event information and conduct continual event re-assessments.
Escalate risk according to risk and safety management processes.Delivers to the ATOC business plan.Involvement in project work.Cover Shift Lead responsibilities in the control room as and when required, this may include some nights and weekends.
Ko koe tenei | About you To be considered for this role you will have: 3-5 years' experience in a people leadership role in operations, logistics or service delivery.A relevant tertiary qualification and /or comparable and relevant experience in communications, operations management, logistics management, customer service or similar.Demonstrated competence in supervising a team preferably in a highly complex organisation.Has some understanding and appreciation of the workings and functions of local or central government.Understands and has worked with Coordinated Incident Management System (CIMS) desirable but not essential.Some understanding and appreciation of the workings and functions of local or central government.Ko wai matou | About us At AT, we?embrace?inclusion and fully support building a diverse workplace where people come first and we feel safe, respected, valued and supported, inclusive of our differences.
