Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity This role will lead and enable a team accountable for monitoring and managing the transport network (all modes, assets and facilities) in real time, mitigating and implementing network improvement interventions and making critical decisions that enhances the safety and customer journeys. You will: Supervise and support team members to deliver business efficiently and effectively.Ensures development objectives are in place for all staff to maintain and build the capability of their team(s). Demonstrates a strong commitment to implementation of these objectives and ensures monitoring systems are in place to measure progress.Supports the Senior Operator and Shift Lead in the implementation of the real time strategies.Set, monitor and review direct report performance objectives in line with the Performance & Development Plan (PDP) process.Interpret event information and conduct continual event re-assessments. Escalate risk according to risk and safety management processes.Delivers to the ATOC business plan.Involvement in project work.Cover Shift Lead responsibilities in the control room as and when required, this may include some nights and weekends.
