Job DescriptionThe Opportunity
As a Real Estate Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and guiding learners throughout their qualification journey, providing both pastoral care and academic support to ensure each learner feels engaged and set up for success. Managing up to 60 learners per cohort, you'll provide timely feedback, track progress, and deliver personalised support to those who need it most. By building strong relationships and addressing challenges proactively, you will make a positive impact on each learner's journey.
Your key responsibilities Pastoral Care: Support and manage up to 60 learners per cohort (4-5 cohorts annually), track engagement, and offer guidance, especially in the first week of enrolment.Academic Support: Mark assessments with constructive feedback, facilitate weekly cohort sessions, and provide resources to help learners meet academic goals.Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly monitor progress, identify learners in need of additional support, and provide actionable feedback for success.Desired Skills and ExperienceEducation: Minimum Level 4 Real Estate Salesperson Qualification and Unit Standard 4098 for assessment.Experience: Proven background in student advising or educational support, managing learner progress, and delivering constructive feedback.Skills: Strong communication, organisational abilities, and experience with tracking, reporting, and engaging learners effectively.At Skills, our culture is built on our values ofJoy,Manaakitanga,Collab, andBold.We believe in creating a workplace where you feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow.
