On-going training and refresher training is running on a continual basis throughout New Zealand.
About the role Aviation is a highly regulated and constantly changing industry, and staff must be kept up to date with changes to operations processes. Trainers and On Job Trainers provide ongoing training and coordination of training plans specific to the requirements of each port, aircraft type, and ground equipment. Staff need to do continual refresher training to ensure best practice is followed and staff are up to date with any changes to operational procedures.
