The Role: As a Service Manager, you will play a vital role in managing and coordinating our HVAC and Electrical service team in the Auckland region. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Leading a team of skilled HVAC & Electrical technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion. Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC & Electrical systems on commercial projects. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met within specified timelines and budgets. Conducting on-site inspections, quality checks, and troubleshooting to maintain the highest standards of workmanship. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies. Contributing to the recruitment, training, and development of HVAC & Electrical technicians & apprentices within the branch. Providing technical expertise and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders. Skills and Experience: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Proven experience as a Service Manager or a similar leadership position in the relevant industries. Sound understanding of relevant regulations, codes, and safety guidelines. Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritise tasks, ensuring efficient project execution. Capability to quote/estimate HVAC service and project work. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions. A relevant trade qualification or certification in HVAC/Electrical or related field - strong HVAC background preferred. We currently work in the HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical industries, providing quality service and installations throughout New Zealand.
